This exciting new role comes to market from a specialist in the production of battery technologies seeking an experienced process engineer to support their continued growth. Joining them as a process engineer you will work on the optimisation of manufacturing processes for multiple battery cell products.

Further responsibilities will include:

  • Creation of cell assembly instructions for multiple cell products
  • Process optimisation in line with Six Sigma and continuous improvement principles
  • Creating and carrying out design of experiments (DOE) that will lead to improved manufacturing parameters
  • Develop the processes required for new products and customer collaborations that require bespoke components
  • Prepare reports and support the project team with customer and partner meetings

To carry out this role they are seeking a qualified engineer with experience working in a product manufacturing environment. Six sigma training is desirable but not essential and can be offered to the successful applicant. Any experience working in a dry room environment or with manufacturing processes including high speed cutting, ultrasonic welding, sealing, lamination and stacking would also be beneficial but is not essential.
